Garland Animal Services currently partners with Friends of Rescue Animals for managing the volunteer program. There are a variety of volunteer opportunities including walking and playing with the animals, laundry, cleaning, enrichment building, and bringing animals to offsite adoption events. We also have a running program called RUN D.O.G that provides exercise for our high energy dogs. After completing the application and orientation/animal handling training, volunteers are able to come any day of the week (including weekends).
For more information about volunteering or to sign up to be a volunteer please visit https://www.frastx.org/volunteer/.
