Yard Waste in Streets

Allowing the release of yard waste into the street, gutter or storm drain is not only unsightly and bad for our waterways, it is in violation of the City of Garland Code of Ordinance. This could result in a fine up to $2,000.

Please do your part to keep our neighborhoods healthy, clean and beautiful. Pick up yard waste and/or request your lawn maintenance provider to remove excess yard waste and dispose of it properly in bagged containers. The property owner is ultimately responsible for the condition of their property.
