The City of Garland previously partnered with the Garland Chamber of Commerce to distribute $500,000 of CARES Act funds to qualifying Garland small businesses through the CRF Business Assistance Program. For details, visit the Chamber’s website.

The Garland Chamber of Commerce is providing a variety of resources to support Garland businesses.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott’s Strike Force to Open Texas has created a set of guidelines for reopening business as the COVID-19 situation progresses. The plan includes guidance for individuals, business, customers and more. One specific detail allows for businesses to open at 25% of capacity. The City of Garland Building Inspection Department has created a document to help businesses calculate their occupancy limits.

The City of Garland Economic Development Department is maintaining a list of resources to support and assist businesses during the COVID-19 crisis.

The National Development Council (NDC) is offering emergency financial assistance to Dallas County businesses that have been adversely affected by the COVID-19 Pandemic.  The program targets small businesses with fewer than 100 employees and less than $1.5 million in annual revenue.  For more details, visit the NDC website.
